Dr. Cohn has been practicing dentistry for over 25 years. He is a graduate of NYU College of Dentistry and has completed residences in both General Dentistry and Anesthesia. He is licensed to administer intravenous sedation and general anesthesia for phobic and handicapped patients. He practices in Bayonne, NJ and Montefiore Hospital in New York.

Intravenous Sedation

Sedation dentistry can put you at ease and virtually eliminates the pain associated with dental procedures. Intravenous sedation is one of several options available to significantly reduce your fears and discomfort.

General Anesthesia

Some people are so fearful of the dentist that they avoid dental care at all costs. These patients are considered dental phobic and may sometimes require sedation or general anesthesia (being put to sleep) to have their dental treatments completed. Sedation and general anesthesia can be very useful for highly phobic patients, during advanced oral surgical procedures (e.g., removal of impacted wisdom teeth) and for those with certain physical and mental handicaps.
